Hi. My name is Kristine. I used to post here regularly, but like all things I do, I take breaks. So, here is an update on what is going on in my life.
1) Beau and I are great! I bought some new tires for my 4-wheeler and he just got his fixed, so we will be out riding around some time soon.
2)Basement is still nearly empty since it flooded at the end of March. The upstairs is a near disaster and I do believe the National Guard has been called out to survey our garage, which is packed full of junk. We need to finish painting the basement this week, next week the carpet will be installed, then we need to paint the upstairs and install the laminate flooring. Then we need to clean out the garage and have a garage sale. The garage sale is on June 1 or 2 I think. Not much time to do ALOT. Plus, because of all the rain, we never planted our garden, which still needs to be tilled up. SO, as you can see, we are accepting all applications for assistance.
3) Girls are doing great! They are almost done with their 7th grade year and they have maintained A's and B's all year long. I am really proud of them. Now if only I could find a way to make them look less beautiful as to ward the boys off :)
Hope fully we can get them into something this summer so they won't be so bored. Of course, that takes money, so we will see.
4)My sister is finally graduating college. She has a double major of psychology and history with a minor in anthropology - ALL WITH HONORS!! So, as you can see, she has had pretty much no life since she graduated high school....JUST KIDDING!!!! I am so incredibly proud of her. Unfortunately, her graduation is on Saturday, and I work Saturdays at 3, and I just took off the whole weekend about a week ago for a wedding I was in, so there is no way I can take off again so soon. I hope maybe she will forgive me and we could go out after I get off work. KELLY - IF YOU ARE READING THIS, FORGIVE ME PLEASE!! I WOULD LOVE TO BE THERE!!!
5)I have been incredibly busy at work. We are working on a software upgrade and I have been working not only at work, but also at home. At least its a project that I really enjoy and its pretty much all my creation. I feel very proud of my work so far and I will feel much more proud when its complete, ON TIME!! *biting nails*
6)I have done some things to improve my life lately. I have cut back on the procrastination and I have also done ok with my money situation. I need to pay off some medical bills really soon and keep up with my credit cards, but I am very committed to being debt free.
Well, thats me in 6 paragraphs. I lost a few pounds due to the stomach flu, haven't bought any new clothing (spring clothes are needed!) and need another haircut. Until later my long lost friends!!!
