Election Day Results are In!

If you want to hear my political joy expressed over the election results, go to my new blog Politically Overrated (www.politicallyoverrated.blogspot.com). You are invited to agree/debate but not invited to troll.

Othe miscellaneous happenings:

I have successfully journaled what I ate for 1 entire week and I do think I might have lost a pound. I am mostly happy about the journaling. I can definitely see where I sabotage my diet. Also, last night I added on 15 minutes to my workout, increasing it to 45 minutes of cardio. I just hope that I can keep up my motivation. If history says anything, I will get motivated like a 5 year old on Red Bull, then crash out.

I slept with my sleep apnea mask on last night, but only for a short while. I need to wear it every night, but I fall asleep before I put it on. My boyfriend is so supportive. When he notices that I am not wearing it, he wakes to remind me. You would think that you would wear it just KNOWING that you QUIT BREATHING AND ESSENTIALLY SUFFOCATE YOURSELF UNTIL YOUR BRAIN WAKES YOU. I guess you just get used to the idea? Um...

My girls' new little brother Elijah was still in the hospital a day ago, and they think he might have hemophilia. Please don't let him have that. Please let it just be something related to being a newborn. If he does have it, please let it be a minor case and please give his mom and Darrin the strength to deal with this challenge. He looked just beautiful in his hospital photo. I can't wait until I get to hold him and see his giant chubby cheeks in real life.
They are HUGE and very chipmunk-like. Oh yeah, and did I mention that Darrin is totally in love with his son. During the birth, alot of things got worked out and I think the situation has changed some. He sounded all choked up on the phone when he talked about Eli. I called it.

So what is up with the 80 degree weather in November?
